Supported by top-tier U.S. climate tech investors and fresh off a successful Series B funding round, we are seeking an FP&A Director to support an impressive CFO in building a dynamic FP&A function.
The Role
This position will be an integral piece to a function and business with extreme growth potential. Functioning as the CFO’s right hand, this individual will support in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial modeling, and scenario analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in a manufacturing environment.
This position will gain direct exposure to the Executive Leadership Team through consistent collaboration and will be a key player in high-impact areas like capital raising, corporate development activities, and Board-level discussion.
This is a hands-on role that offers a unique opportunity to be a foundational member of a highly accomplished and collaborative finance team.
Responsibilities
- Refine and manage the corporate financial model to drive strategic decision-making
- Offer credible insight to commercial and engineering teams, senior leadership, and the Board of Directors
- Support the CFO in establishing systems and lead on the annual budget process
- Assist the CFO and Controller in the implementation of ERP and forecasting software solutions
- Develop insightful forecasts for various scenarios to present to senior leadership
- Identify capital strategy including equity and non-dilutive sources
- Collaborate with the CFO and Head of Operations to implement inventory and cost control processes + margin improvement strategies
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
What You Need:
- 6+ years of finance experience
- Experience working in a hardware manufacturing business
- Strong skills in financial modeling and analysis
- Entrepreneurial mindset that enjoys building new systems and solving problems
- Willingness & ability to be in the office on a hybrid basis
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of staff and with external stakeholders
- Strong excel skills

Package: $150,000 - $200,000 + Equity + GREAT benefits
